ChatGPT, Bing Chat, Google Bard:

Hey,

I get this question a lot: What’s the difference between ChatGPT, Bing Chat, and Google Bard? Which AI chatbot is the best?

It’s a great question, but hard to explain fully without some visuals.

Because of that, I recorded this video for you to compare the three Chatbots so that you can see the difference for yourself. Watch the video, see the differences, and let me know what you think.

Here were the most interesting findings:

For the experiment, I used the prompt: Create a podcast outline for "A Step-by-Step Guide to Build Your Personal Brand with Video."

Here were the results...

1. Bing Chat: the format of the output was jumbled which is inconvenient because then you have to take more time to reformat wherever you build the content (in the video I show how then I would have to reformat the output in my Notion)

2. Bing Chat Compose: What was interesting is that the output for the outline was in the first person. It was more of a speech than an outline...

3. Google Bard: Did not understand the prompt. And when I tried to stack a second prompt, it completely ignored the context of the first prompt. This wasted two minutes of my time (very inconvenient).

4. ChatGPT 3.5: it actually gave me an outline for a podcast episode. It also added a critical step in the process that Bing Chat missed, which was to analyze and measure the success of your content to leverage for future content strategy.

5. ChatGPT-4: was more robust and had a better structure for a podcaster to follow (which included time breakdowns for each section podcast) but it missed a few critical steps in the personal branding process. What is interesting to note is that it missed a critical step that ChatGPT 3.5 did not miss. Once I gave GPT-4 a little more direction with a second prompt, the final output was much better than the other chatbots (in my personal opinion). I'll let you decide that for yourself.
